repalletizing

Re-palletizing is the process of taking packaged products that are already stacked on pallets and transferring them to new pallets. There may be several reasons why repalletizing is required.

Replacing Pallets

Often pallets break during transport and it is simply unsafe to continue moving the products in this state. Our team will disassemble the pallet and restack all contents for forwarding. Removing broken pallets reduces damage to your inventory and is safer for everyone involved in the handling process.

Changing the block pattern

The stacking pattern on some pallets is less than ideal causing uneven weight distribution and unbalanced loads. Awkward stacking can also result in uneven box patterns that collide with other pallets during warehouse maneuvers. We restack these pallets to ensure better movement.

Separating mixed SKU’s

Often products arrive on mixed pallets and need to be re-organized based on product line, product SKU or future destination. At Truvik Lumping we are very efficient at turning a chaotic assortment of palletized products into a well organized lot. This type of reorganization will speed up distribution of your products resulting in faster turn times and better inventory management.
